Junior/Senior High Shooting Badges

Given the state of 1930s Japan, most children were being trained in the military arts as
well as academic subjects. Since mostly boys went on to middle school, the schools
often became soldier training centers of sorts. Of course, an important part of this
training was sharpshooting.
I have seen a number of badges that were made for school tournaments. There is a
wonderful assortment of designs. Below are just a few I've found. I'm sure there are
many more.
Nicely designed wartime sharpshooting watch fob.
Dated Imperial Year 2595 [1935].

Sharpshooting badge. The design has a militant kite perched upon a row of bullets.
Dated 1933.

Sharpshooting Range, Sponsored by Kobe Industrial University Sharpshooting Club.'
Sharpshooting badge. The design has a row of bullets that appear to be protruding from a lion's mouth.

rifles over a cherry blossom, which obviously is
based upon the Army Proficiency Badge.
