Very nice Naval Institute badge with original case. This is the White Distinguished Merit
Badge. (Note that 'white' refers to the color of the suspension bar. There are also
badges with red and blue bars.)
Although oftentimes these badges were silver, this is a late-war aluminum badge.
Another example of the White Ribbon Merit Medal.
A large number of differences in the badges and the cases.
Large medallion from the Naval Institute.
Inscribed ' Showa 11 [1936] April, Naval
Institute Fukuoka Prefecture Branch Meeting
Commemorative.'
The word I translated as 'meeting' can also
mean 'tournament.'
The rim has some dents.
Inpaku Navy Institute Life Member Badge.
Imperial Navy Institute Supporting Member Badge.
Small cheaply made Naval Institute badge
Naval Institute enamel merit badge.
Imperial Naval Institute Loyal and Brave Commemorative
Medal. Enamel with red glass ball in the center.
