The medal is in the shape of a spearhead.
OBVERSE: Decorated with orchids and chrysanthemums, the Imperial flowers of
Manchukuo and Japan, respectively.
REVERSE: Inscribed 'Kang Teh 2 [1934] Manchukuo Empire, Emperor's Visit to Japan
Commemorative Medal.'
The chrysanthemums and orchids are tied together with a ribbon bearing a inscription
meaning 'One Virtue, One Heart.'
'Made at the Great Imperial Japan Mint.'
